Improv Workshop for Adults — No Experience Needed
2 day workshop to experience improv. We'll play games and exercises around 2 major concepts of improv — Accepting each other's ideas and Being spontaneous. Introvert or Extrovert — doesn't matter. Winning doesn't matter, just have fun, play the games and experience how they bring out the wonderful version of you.
No prior experience needed. Join for one day or both.

Limited to 20 participants per session. No acting skills required.
Somewhere along the way, we became adults who overthink everything. We rehearse conversations before making a phone call. We worry about saying the wrong thing. We stop raising our hands. We stop asking silly questions. We become careful.
But as kids, we didn't. We played. We imagined. We laughed without wondering how we looked.
This workshop is about finding that version of yourself again.
What is Improv and Why Should You Try It?
Improv isn't theatre.
It isn't about being funny. It isn't about performing.
It's about learning to listen, respond, create and trust yourself without needing a script.
A space where failures are celebrated. It helps you become more present, more playful and more comfortable with uncertainty — whether you're speaking to strangers, friends, colleagues or yourself.
What You'll Experience
Participants will experience concepts demonstrated via games and playfulness. You are free to take it at your pace, and participate as per your ease. It's not about winning, just have fun, play the games and experience how they bring out the wonderful version of you.
Both the days are planned in a way that does not require prior experience in improv or acting.

About the Host
Avinash Verma
Hi, I'm Avinash — performer, facilitator, and full-time believer in the power of play (and well-timed silence).
For over a decade, I've worked across theatre stages, corporate boardrooms, film sets, classrooms, and community spaces — using improvisation, storytelling, and presence to help people reconnect with themselves and each other.
I've acted in feature films (Fairy Folks, Crew, Ek Din), ads for brands like Cadbury and ICICI, and web series with MTV and Amazon. I've also facilitated workshops for companies like Netflix, Tata Power, Quess Corp, and Scopely — using improv to sneak trust, feedback, collaboration, and creativity into the workplace (without anyone dozing off).
Some days, I'm coaching senior leaders. Other days, I'm running a theatre sports session for high schoolers at American School Bombay or JBCN. And then there are the deeply grounding moments — working with kids in state-run schools, orphanages, or juvenile centers, where expression and play are more than just tools — they're lifelines.
